Raw Cinnamon Snacks to Go!



When walking around doing errand I often need a little something to support me to the next meal. I don’t want to get muffin or bagels as they are offering little nutrients compared to what you are about to try. These Cinnamon Snacks To Go will bring you way more for the buck. They are highly nutritious and as you know the cinnamon will boost your metabolism. Here is one of my favourite recipes because it has very little ingredients and takes just minutes to make! Enjoy!


Raw Cinnamon Snacks to Go
2 cups of raw almonds
¼ cup of cinnamon
½ teaspoon of salt
1 ¾ cups of raisins
1 tablespoon of agave
-In your food processor ground the almonds until fine. Add then the cinnamon and salt and give it a spin to get it well mixed in. 

-Then add the raisins and process until the dough start to form a wall around the bowl. Then through the opening at the top as it continue to process the dough pour slowly the agave. Stop when it starts to form a ball of some sort. 

-Using your hands, form into balls, squares or bars. You can sprinkle them with cinnamon or finely grounded coconut. This recipe made 22 balls. Put them in the fridge and pack one in a small container to go.
